Stephen Harper, the George Bush of the “Great White North”, fervently supports the SPP and its ostensible beneficence to “the people.”

Free Trade was an idea that was born at the close of the Second World War. It continued to gain momentum within elite circles during the 1960’s; and by 1986 was codified into global law when the World Trade Organization was founded.
With the birth of the North American Free Trade Agreement under the Clinton Administration, global regulations began being deeply integrated, furtively, into every aspect of law within the United States, Canada and Mexico. This process was accelerated in 2005 under the auspices of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America; a plan to facilitate the free movement of goods, services and people throughout our continent.
For anyone unfamiliar with the Security and Prosperity Partnership Agreement, (SPP), it’s a unilateral agreement between President Bush, and the governments of Mexico and Canada, that has never been presented to our congressional representatives in Washington; or to you, the taxpayer.
However, this is about to change, as this fall, SPP is to be presented to Congress under the patronage and support of globalization’s biggest benefactors – the Council on Foreign Relations – a powerful globalist think-tank located in Washington, D.C.
To illustrate just how powerful the CFR actually is, one only needs to look at the slate of presidential candidates for next year’s election. Republicans: Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Jim Gilmore, Newt Gingrich; and Democrats: Hillary Clinton – (Bill too), Barack Obama, John Edwards, Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, and Bill Richardson are all members.
The founding principal behind globalization, as described by its acolytes, is the promotion of principals that abolish national borders, and mitigate national sovereignty to facilitate trade. The void created by the elimination of these national institutions will be filled by regional and global governmental bodies. Thereby expediting global commerce, and eliminating the necessity of multinational corporations having to cooperate, synergistically, with a multiplicity of geopolitical governments.
The best illustration of this quest for the globalization of governance can be gleaned by examining the European Union.
The EU began with trade agreements, then a common currency, then a constitution and parliament. When some countries within Europe demurred participation; their citizens were bypassed, and approval was provided by fiat through their various legislatures.
However, before this scheme can be implemented in North America one major task must be accomplished, the eradication of the most powerful democratic republic ever created by man: the United States of America. This is currently being systematically accomplished by collapsing various segments of our economy; including the destruction of the dollar, our manufacturing base, homeownership and the military.
America has become financially, economically, socially and militarily unsustainable; and the economic collapse which is about to unfold here, so horrifically catastrophic, that it’s almost unimaginable.
When free trade and globalization were nascence, Americans were told by its proponents that it would create jobs at home, prosperity globally and democracies worldwide. The reason it hasn’t, is that globalization is an anathema to individual freedom. In fact, it’s more akin to fascism or corporatism.
An integral part of globalization is deregulation from publicly controlled institutions. For multinational corporations, globalism has fostered a sense of dictatorial corporate collectivism; where multinationals coalesce behind the communal self-interest of a singular core philosophy; arresting regulatory oversight from sovereign nations for the unfettered acquisition of corporate wealth.
As for American citizens, they’ve been nothing but regulated: The Patriot Act, the Total Information Awareness Act, the Domestic Wiretapping Program, etc., etc. Almost every activity in America has been criminalized or is being monitored.
Therefore, my closing admonition to you is this: When the political class in America speaks about globalization having created freedom in China; that’s code for freedom from corporate regulation. When they speak gushingly about China, and its societal reforms, remember their effusive praise is being lavished upon a nation bereft of inalienable rights; where one can’t speak openly, assemble freely, own private property, or bear arms. And when referring to a terrorist threat from within America’s borders; these elites may, in fact, be referring to YOU… the soon to be economically dispossessed, disenfranchised, and dislocated American.
China, however, is a shining example of one thing…the new feudalism.
A SPECIAL MESSAGE TO OUR READERS.

As a semi-autonomous section of the multi-faceted, thoroughly comprehensive, and highly prestigious Cyrano’s Journal Online, we share Cyrano’s passion for winning the battle of communications against systemic lies, an act which is essential to attaining social and environmental justice. To help us achieve that goal, Cyrano’s Journal, besides its regular editorial pages, intends to begin producing editorial videos to expose the lack of proper context, ahistoricalism, excessive over-emphasis on inane events, and outright lies the corporate media, and in particular television, present to you and your family as a steady diet of pernicious intellectual junk food. This will be an expensive under-taking and there will be no grants forthcoming from the likes of the American Enterprise Institute, the Coors or Heritage Foundation. You can be sure of that!

As Greek mythology has it, the powerful are frequently defeated by their own hubris, and that’s precisely what we are witnessing today. Our rotten-to-the-core, usurping plutocracy has become so overtly and arrogantly corrupt that our patience has now reached its generous limit, and the membrane of America’s collective consciousness is about to burst. This will result in a significant restructuring of our socioeconomic and political environments, we hope (and must make sure) for the better. Considering what is at stake in the world today, Cyrano’s Journal and Thomas Paine’s Corner want to accelerate the arrival of that new day, and its promise of a new, truly well organized, kind, and honest civilization.

The missing piece falls into place. Now it all makes sense; the evil we’ve all been living and breathing (and denying) has been for this.
