BEFORE
grenades
blasted through lunch
shocked waves
black-shawled crows
wailed, “Caw! caw!”
stricken
feathers slick crude
saturate heavy burden
tongue click microphone
beat frequency raise
the dead
send living
down down
dystopic dreamward
yesterday’s action news
